Solid shampoo bars are a great way of getting rid of plastic bottles in the bathroom. Mine are aimed at normal to dry hair and do what shampoo is supposed to do, wash your hair and give it body and shine. There are many different ‘soapers’ out there making shampoo. I suggest you try them and once you find one you and your scalp like, then stick to it!! Even if it is not mine!! Out bodies and hair are very different which is why some people love certain products and dislike others. I have sample bars so you can try mine to see how you get on. Plus this means you get to try lots of gorgeous scents!!

Wooden Soap Dish – to keep your handmade soap dry.
Handmade soaps need keeping dry so they last longer. If they sit in water they will go soggy and will lose their shape and scent. To preserve your soap always keep them in a dish with holes or gaps. I have 2 dishes, both made of bamboo, which are perfect for looking after your soaps. They are both quite light in weight but the darker coloured one looks chunkier.
Another bonus of using wooden dishes is they will not damage porcelain hand basins / bowls if dropped into them!

This beautiful gift set includes 3 handmade soaps. I make the soaps using all natural ingredients, including the scents which are essential oils. I wrap each soap in paper so it looks like a parcel in its own right. 3 soaps are then placed in the lined box and gift wrapped with a ribbon on the outside.

Solid Shampoo Bar – handmade with natural vegan friendly ingredients.
Have you tried shampoo bars yet? They are so versatile and do not contain any of the chemicals that many mass produced shampoos use. The most frequently used chemical is SLS. This is added to give the product a lather. Now, we don’t need a huge lather to get clean, we just think we do lol! My bars do lather up but you will not get a head full of bubbles like you do with SLS. I use hair loving oils, butters and a variety of different essential oils which are good for the hair and scalp.
